Building Height and Floor Pressure
Converts vertical rise (floor count x floor-to-floor height) to a pressure-head figure, with local hose/appliance losses entered and shown separately. Uses a vertical datum of ground level to the target outlet.
ℹVerify locally before acting. This tool is a planning and arithmetic aid, not a substitute for training, local SOPs, calibrated instruments, or scene assessment. Confirm critical values independently. Suite status: DRAFT - not yet department-approved for operational use.
When you'd use this: High-rise pre-planning - quickly estimate the elevation-pressure penalty for supplying a given floor, before adding the standpipe system's own internal losses on top.
