Elevation Pressure Change
Converts a vertical rise or drop into a pressure effect: 0.434 psi/ft (US) or 9.81 kPa/m (metric). This is terrain elevation only - do not confuse it with hose lay length.
ℹVerify locally before acting. This tool is a planning and arithmetic aid, not a substitute for training, local SOPs, calibrated instruments, or scene assessment. Confirm critical values independently. Suite status: DRAFT - not yet department-approved for operational use.
When you'd use this: Flowing to a floor above or below pump level, or up/down a hillside - quickly convert the vertical rise or drop to a pressure effect before folding it into a full PDP calculation.
