Residual Water Availability

Uses an existing hydrant test point (static/residual pressure and measured flow) to estimate available flow at a chosen residual pressure, using the NFPA 291 exponent. Projections beyond roughly double the tested flow range are flagged as extrapolated.

ℹVerify locally before acting. This tool is a planning and arithmetic aid, not a substitute for training, local SOPs, calibrated instruments, or scene assessment. Confirm critical values independently. Suite status: DRAFT - not yet department-approved for operational use.
When you'd use this: You already have a hydrant flow test on file from a prior year and want to estimate what's available today at a different target residual, without re-running the full field test.
